John Mayer - Assassin (Live in NYC)

John Mayer's Battle Studies didn't hit me as quick as Continuum did back in 2006. Most people would have to agree. I've also heard that it's an album that you learn to like the more you listen to it. There are great tracks on it that have always stood out to me and the album as a whole is pretty good. When I say good, I mean TERRIFIC. Brian says I'm late to realize the quality of the album, which I am but at least I've had the album since its release date. One song that I can have on replay is Assassin. I first paid attention to the song when I saw JM in Nola last week. Maybe it was because of the timing of the concert or the beastly guitar solo that captured me. Whatever it was, I was sold on it.
